Photo 05-29-2008

A couple of flowers for this weeks theme and also a couple of young armadillos. Call me crazy but I really think these animals are so cute!! Must be my Dutch background.... before I came here I had never seen one and now I see them all the time!! These ones were as tiny as my new little kitten and super cute and not shy at all. They came really close (about a feet away) and posed for a picture!

Thanks for looking!

I can't believe you have armadillos running around like that. I guess they are cute in a weird sort of way. Love the vibrant green in those flower shots. Wow!

Oh my god...if I saw that thing I would drop my camera in excitement! I just love that you were able to capture this. I cannot get over how exotic they seem to me, but I am sure they are pretty "everyday" to you.

OH! An armadillo! Love those shots, even if 'dillos are dumber than dirt. The hydrangea photo is really nice--pops against those dark green leaves.

Pretty flowers, and I think armadillos are cute too! But probably only because I live in Maine where I'll never seen one and they're not considered a nuisance like they are in Texas.

Wow, what pretty flowers! I have only seen armadillos in the zoo... but I hear what a nuisance they can be in areas where they normally live. Your little guys are cute though! :)

Sure they are cute until they start digging holes in your yard. ;)
