I had to go to Galveston to get some stuff for our kitties (our vet is still on Galveston). And thought I could take some pictures of Galveston also..... that turned out to be a lot harder. I was not really prepared for what I saw..... brown. Everything is brown either from debris or from dead nature. It was horrible! And for some reason I could not take pictures. I completely closed up. I took a couple from the car, but nothing special. I will go back, because it's also part of my time here in Texas.
First one: remember this house:
It's still standing but all the beautiful trees are brown and dead!
Piles of debris are everywhere... this was one of the better views. 
And this was when you leave the island... instead of a green field it's a garbage pile!
