Photo 11-03-2008

Sometimes you take a picture and you think that it would work... but when you look at it on the computer you are like "not really". This is one of those shots. I hate the lamp in it... it's not crooked enough to be on purpose and not straight enough to make a nice composition. Ooooh well we can't choose the strength of our hurricane winds, can we (it's a left over of hurricane Ike)!

The second shot I really had to take, because there are only a few trees here in the south that change color.. so when i see one with red leaves..... I had to take the shot.

And the last one is a landscape that does work, no irritating lamps or anything in there, LOL!!

Looks a little like the Everglades in that last one especially. I'm glad you got to see some red in that tree.

How fun to see some red in the tree! When we lived in Arizona, I missed the fall leaves. Beautiful shots!

So much thought goes into a shot, doesn't it? :) I like how the red stands out in the 2nd pic.

Oh man, I take SO many "not really" shots! But they are so worth it when you get those "oh YEAH!" shots too! I love love LOVE the last one.

I am a "not really" shooter, too. I think most of us are, if we are being honest with ourselves. I found the warped lightpost neat--can you get it at an angle against the sky? The last shot, with the pampas grass (?) is really cool.

I love the reflection in the water in the last one. Looks like a wonderful place to visit.
