Yesterday (03-28-2008) started out great with an opportunity for more bird pictures. Then off to work, which went well until about 10 o'clock. Then a big migraine attack happened and I had a lot of pain and numbness in my arm. An emergency visit that was hell. Finally left the emergency room without being helped and are still worried. So only a few pictures that I looked at today. I rested a lot today and I'm much better, but still worried, but refuse to go to the emergency room again. I will go to the doctor next week, hopefully everything will go better.

Sorry about your migraine. I get those, too, but haven't had one that sever in a looong time. Your emerg. room visit does sound like something straight from Heck. I hope your doctor's appt. yields more results. Evidently that nurse has NEVER had a migraine, or whe wouldn't've reacted like that... Sending headache-free wishes and prayers your way...
i am sorry to hear about your headaches. my friend gets those so horribly she has to get shots to relieve her pain.

I understand how lousy you felt with that migraine. I have had a headache for going on 2 weeks now and some days it is much worse than others and for a couple it was a full blown migraine. I hope your doctors visit goes better.
I love bird photos! I'm sorry you had such a hellish time and hope your migraine goes away soon. They are so miserable.
Great shots, I love the third one of the wing span! I'm so sorry you had such a miserable visit to the ER and hope your doctor visit goes better. I've been to the ER a few times and never had such a bad experience, the doctors/nurses have always been helpful and quick. I seriously don't think that was a typical visit.
so sorry you have had the migraine. I get those also. But since my Hysterectomy, I've had like 2 in 4 years. Best thing I could have done. Anyway, that doesn't sound like a normal ER visit. Do you have a regular doc you can see?
I am deeply sorry you struggle with migraines. I don't get headaches much, but have a friend who gets them so bad...it knocks her out. I can see how miserable they are, so my deepest regret for yours.
Pelicans are such amazing birds...I love their beaks. The light here really sets the mood.

I hope you get feeling better soon. I get migranes (never that bad) and they are terrible. The emergency room is never fun but I have never had it that bad.
Oh goodness Yvonne! What a trooper you are posting pics through the pain. Your shots are so nice too! I really hope you get better soon...my mom has terrible headaches...awful migraines. On the other hand, I think I have only had 10 headaches my entire 27 years. Big hugs for a fast recovery.
I hope you're feeling much, much better today! And that really doesn't sound like a normal ER visit. Was it in some kind of crazy, over-crowded city hospital? I had a migraine last week, and missed 3 days of work, which is unheard of for me! Lots of vomiting with it. My doc ordered a CAT scan. . . and my portion is going to be at least $400 . . . and fortunately everything normal. Like another poster, once I stopped having my period, migraines dropped to about 1 to 2 a year. I hope your's are/come to be rare and mild. As far as I'm concerned, not enough research has been done in figuring out women's migraines. . . .Well, I won't get started on that! Oh I am so sorry for your pain...I hope it is better today...That doesn't sound like a typical er visit...I know first hand how migrains are...not fun!!! Great photos!
