And for everyone whose not from the south, this first one is an armadillo, which I had never seen before today, so I got really excited to have the chance to take a picture of it........... about a hundred pictures later I had one that shows his head and not the leaves. This nature photography takes a lot of patients.... and batteries!LOL

Wow...your bird shots are incredible!!! Armadillos always bring back bad memories for me of hearing my next door neighbor out in the middle of the night with his shotgun trying to get them off his property! lol :)

The cardinal is great, I love that color contrast with his bright red against the super blue sky.
