Not really in the mood for taking pictures today.... so I posted a picture from this weekend. We went again to the nature park, and I got to shot some animals.... unfortunately I was not quick enough for the deer! LOL, I will learn sometime.

Since the theme is love this week.... here are my two loves (besides my husband). These cats came with us from the Netherlands and are a big part of our family. Let me introduce them to you: The brown one is Snoepie (which means Candy in Dutch, can you guess where she got her name?!?) and the black one is Spotje (little Dot, translated literally!

Today my cat gave me a good laugh. She decided that it's fun to sit in the flowerpots I have on the balcony. As you can see my cat is not the smallest, so it does take a little bit of pushing to get everything inside....... and then I come with the camera! She did not want to have it!!! LOL!

The second shot is how she ended up settling down after washing and pushing everything kind of inside!

I think I enjoy shooting in natural light a lot more than trying to get a decent picture inside. After the failure yesterday I got up early this morning to take advantage of the great pre sunrise light.

I wanted to take a picture of one of my favourite games. It's a game that I brought from the Netherlands. It's based on the book (and movie) Lord of the Rings. The neat thing about the game is that you play against an invisible Sauron (none of the people you play with is playing this part, but all of your actions will result in actions for Sauron (this is the bad guy, the dark figurine in the back, that you have to conquer).

It's a really great and difficult game, but I think it's even harder to get a good picture from it at night. I tried, but this is the only one who is a little bit decent. I'm going to reshoot this though, because it's not to my liking!

And this is part of the things that have prevented me from taking pictures.... a hole in my windshield and trying to get this repaired. The pictures do not show the real damage... the crack went from top to bottom and from side to side.

It was so hard to get this on picture, because I could not get the camera to focus on the windshield instead of on the background. This was the only one that worked!

When I was taking the pictures of the caroussel I saw a black spot in the middle. After moving around a bit it turned out to be my black jacket. I finally was able to take some kind of self portrait!

Todays pictures are taken for the twopeas course week 4 flash. Since I don't have children and my cats don't like flash, I had to go looking for a willing subject. I found them on the fairground. The challenge was to take 1 picture with and one without flash, but with the same settings. The colors in the pictures taken with flash are supposed to "pop" more.
